About the project

Delkim has a long-standing reputation for pioneering vibration-sensing bite alarms. It’s technology sets them apart in a market traditionally dominated by wheel-based systems. With the launch of the TX-iD and Rx-D V2, Delkim saw an opportunity not only to introduce its next generation of products, but to clearly reaffirm its position as the category leader in precision bite indication.

To support this, we developed Built Different – a bold, integrated campaign designed to elevate Delkim’s premium status, showcase the engineering intelligence behind the new products, and clearly articulate why Delkim remains the benchmark for serious anglers.

The objective was twofold:

  • Drive awareness and understanding of the TX-iD and Rx-D V2

  • Reposition Delkim as a technology-led brand that continues to lead, not follow

Challenge

Despite industry-leading innovation, Delkim faced a familiar challenge: high brand recognition, but incomplete understanding.

Many anglers knew the Delkim name, yet fewer fully understood what made vibration-sensing technology, particularly in the TX-iD and Rx-D V2, so superior in real-world fishing conditions. As a result, Delkim’s key advantages (accuracy, reduced false alarms, reliability in all weather, and UK manufacturing) were not always clearly connected to the benefits anglers experienced on the bank.

The challenge was to simplify complex innovation, educate without alienating experienced users, and clearly communicate why Delkim’s latest products were not just new—but fundamentally built different.

Solutions

We began with an in-depth collaborative workshop to define what truly sets Delkim TX-iD and Rx-D V2 apart. This process resulted in the development of a message house: a strategic framework that aligned Delkim’s heritage, technology, and customer benefits into a clear, repeatable campaign structure.

At the top sat the campaign platform Built Different – a confident, declarative idea that expressed Delkim’s approach to design, engineering, and performance. Supporting this were clearly defined pillars centred on:

  • Vibration-sensing technology

  • Durability and reliability in extreme conditions

  • Over 30 years of engineering expertise

  • A relentless focus on the angler experience

Each pillar was grounded in authentic proof points taken directly from the TX-iD and Rx-D V2 product design and manufacturing process.

This message framework ensured the campaign could launch the new products while also establishing a long-term narrative that positioned Delkim as the authority in bite indication technology.
