So how'd we do it?
Midshires’ brief was was simple; “generate more trade accounts”. The target audience was “white van” electrical installers. Our challenge was to turn a cold prospect list into warm qualified leads and convert as many as possible into trade accounts. We knew that a standard-email campaign just wasn’t going to cut it. Instead, we needed something more powerful. Something that could create impact with a compelling customer journey. Something that could deliver on lead behaviour and create dynamic landing pages with pre-populated enquiry forms to simplify that journey.
Sonar was the best solution to this challenge, and we got straight to work. The campaign offer was £100 worth of free kit on sign up and when an account spend level was achieved. The campaign comprised social media, pay per click ads and four e-mails, each with a different message but all had the same call-to-action – “sign-up for a trade account”. The prospect was directed to a dynamic landing page, which meant Sonar autofilled the form with any information we already had on them, making it easier for the user to sign-up.
